Silk blood chit, approximately 25.5 x 40cm. Issued for use by British aircrews flying missions over Asia. This rarer first version of the 17 language pattern is printed in blue and red ink with a large Union flag at the top. The text, in 17 languages, states the owner to be an allied fighter only wanting to harm the Japanese. Raw, unhemmed edges. Folded/creased. Some fading, light soiling and frayed edges with a very small hole and minor edge loss on the right as shown. Fair overall condition. Stock code E24968.
