Working Pattern Scots Dragoon Guards button

Standard Pattern No. 30023.  Buttons, Insignia, Officers, Scots.  Here we are offering a 'Working Pattern' (sometimes referred to as a sealed pattern) button for the uniform as worn by the Scots Dragoon Guards.  A working pattern is a standard sample used to ensure that the manufacturer makes the item in question to the exact specifications of this 'original' piece - essentially a template to ensure no variation.  The button here is attached via cord to the linen label and sealed with lead such that it cannot be removed.   Dated 24th April 1981.  Stock code M28100.
