By L. Adams Ltd.  Stores reference 6D/560.  Comprises a length of unbraided brick red coloured rubber oxygen tube with a MK.3B* (6D/101) bayonet connector at one end and a  MK.4E 'socket' connector (6D/1306) at the other.  This is near identical to the wartime issue adaptor but has red rubber hose instead of black and the connectors are alloy/brass rather than all brass.  Wartime variants enabled the use of E-series, G-type and H-type masks in older aircraft fitted with early oxygen systems.  They were also used to connect masks to portable (walkaround) oxygen bottles, a use that continued with this variant well after WW2.  The tube is in excellent flexible condition with no evident cracking or deterioration.  Both connectors are in very good condition and correctly attached with  twine bindings.  The tube is 1968 dated.  Bearing in mind that wartime MK.3B* connectors are scarce and highy sought after, this one makes an ideal substitute at a much lower price.  Stock code O27698.
