'Life-saving Waistcoat, Stole Inflated'. Stores ref. 22c/447. Size medium. The cloth is in excellent overall condition with good strong colour and is generally very clean. The Mae West retains all of the leg straps, grab handles, tying tapes, buttons, inflation lever flap, skull cap/heliograph pocket, flotation lamp pocket (some verdigris deposits on the fastening stud but still functions), fluorescene flap and strap and lifeline/toggle. Good original Air Ministry marked zip. Labelled with Air Ministry King's crown marks. An excellent example showing little use. Stock code MW20662.
