Stores Ref. 22c/167. By J & R Fleming Ltd. The frame is in very good to excellent condition with with virtually no paint loss and only minor marking. It is finished in the less common satin brown rather than black. The nosepiece leather and backing chamois are both good '+'. The original rubber facepads are in much better condition than normally found. They have some deterioration but are not completely hardened and retain reasonably good shape. Clear lenses - the right outer (as worn) has delamination marks but the overall appearance is good. The strap components are excellent throughout with clear Air Ministry markings. The flipshield, or more correctly 'Screen, Anti-Glare' (22c/113) is fitted with the small enclosed 'bayonet' type spring mechanism - all in very good condition. An excellent used pair of goggles.
