The ultra-rare light green canvas holdall used by the Navigator to carry his chartboard, maps, parallel rules, pencils, protractors, compasses etc. Approx. 50 x 50cm with flapped pockets to both sides and two carrying handles. Clear manufacturer's marks, reference number and date to one side. The heavy cotton canvas retains quite good colour and is really quite clean bar some storage staining - largely at the sides, base and edge of the front flap. The bag is in very good/sound condition without damage or repair. Good solid/strong handles. This has clearly not seen much, if any use and makes an excellent display piece. These bags are always highly sought after and rarely turn up. Stock code M20659.
