R.A.F. Pilot\'s Service Dress Tunic

Standard four pocket tunic with a padded pilot wing, Flying Officer rank lace and ribbons for 39-45 star, Burma star, Defence medals with a M-I-D oak leaf at the end. It also appears that a Pacific star clasp is missing/has fallen off the Burma Star ribbon. The tunic is a little soiled/crumpled but appears to be moth free. The wing shows wear around the edges and appears to have been removed from one uniform and replaced on this one (remnants of previous uniform cloth attached). Unlabelled and with no maker\'s information but a scrap of paper in one of the pockets suggests the owner to be Flying Officer H.N. Moss who at some stage (possibly early post-war) flew with 55 Squadron. Measures approx, 40\" pit to pit, so would perhaps fit 38\"? Stock code U16788.
