Early Commercial Flying Goggles

These lovely early goggles have a velvet trimmed and fur backed grey suede facemask with polished alloy lens frames. The frames hinge open to access/change the clear glass lenses. Simple black elastic strap with bronzed adjuster buckle. The facemask is in good condition but there is some wear to the seams of the fur backing which has also come adrift from the sides where the strap attaches. The ventilated alloy frames and lenses are very good but the strap lacks elasticity and is fraying at the edges. Typical of commercially available goggles of the Great War period and 1920s. No markings. Stock code G6705.
