U.S.A.F. B-15C Intermediate Flying Jacket

Size 46 by Albert Turner & Co. Inc. Rare jackets only produced between 1950 and 1953 in this blue nylon, making them synonymous with the Korean war. Later models were in the more familiar green. The jacket is in very good undamaged condition although a little grubby/marked in places. The knitted cuffs are excellent although the waistband has one small hole. Complete with zipped arm pocket, press-studded front slash pockets, fabric hanger and label. The original 'Crown' zip is in excellent condition and c/w leather puller tab. Blue mouton fur collar generally good with minor fur loss near the collar/jacket fold. Faded USAF stencil to the upper left arm. Also stencilled 'P-34' to the right chest area. A very good example in a big size. These jackets are now being reproduced (retailing at around 300). A bargain! Stock code J15128.
