Steel 'dart' as dropped by aircrews over the trenches to maim, injure & kill troops & horses. Approx. 15.5cms in length x 5mm x 5mm. Square section shaft with pointed tip & cruciform 'tail' section to aid stability in flight. Light surface corrosion, otherwise very good. Please note that I am not sure this is British. Similar patterns were used by other air forces during the Great War. We have a couple in stock identical to that shown in the 'stock' photo. Stock code M13750.
