By S Lewis 'of Racing, Flying & Motor Clothing Fame'. Small size. Typical 1930s private purchase helmet in dark brown/black leather with chamois lining. Adjustable buckled forehead strap and chinstrap. Press studded leather earflaps for use with Gosport earpieces/tubes. The leather is in quite good supple condition although a bit grubby and with some surface flaking/wear in places - mainly to the crown area (see photos). The metal componants have surface corrosion and the lining, whilst grubby, is in good condition. Fitted with chromed metal Gosport earpieces. A clean up and some leather dressing should work wonders on this decent used example. Relisted (again) due to a customer with long arms but short pockets..... Stock code H16393.
