Stores Ref. 14B/636. By Smiths. Approx. 30cms diameter case with 20cm dial. Bakelite case with white dial, large central seconds hand & smaller subsidiary dial with minutes hand. Non-luminous. Marked to dial "Printing". Has winder at the 5 o'clock position & cord which exits the case at the 6 o'clock position (cord shorter than it should be). I am fairly sure this was for use in RAF photo labs to time developing photo-reconnaissance pictures etc. Once wound the timer keeps moving but can be zeroed simply by pulling the cord. A.M. marked to rear & with ref. codes to dial. Rear metal mounting plate has surface rust, otherwise in very good working order. Stock code C8235.
