Green rayon scarf with hand emBroidered RAF King's crown crest to one end. Tasselled ends. Approx. 29 x 130cms. Typical of those made from patterns by wives and girlfriends of airman and those worn by fighter pilots to help prevent neck chafing during combat. Wider than most examples found but made with thinner material. Some fairly light marking/staining. (See photos). Heavily creased - requires pressing. Good used overall. Stock code U15101.
