By P Frankenstein & Sons (Manchester) Ltd, a special production of Beaufort Equipment Ltd. Stores ref. 22c/1878. Orange fabric 'waistcoat' with various adjustable webbing straps. Pockets for CO2 inflation cylinder, SARBE rescue beacon, water activated torch etc. The material is reasonably clean and retains good strong colour. Various markings stencilled to the rear. The internal (removeable) stole (bladder) , stores ref. 22c/1182, dated October 1958, is in place, appears to be good and flexible and is still fitted with the correct inflation trigger knob & Kidde CO2 bottle. The cylinder is probably still 'live' and therefore this item is only available within the UK. There is also a water activated torch, stores ref. 5J3411 and dated 1962, a plastic survival whistle and a ground/air signal sheet and razor blade set. The other pockets are empty including the dye marker pocket where the lightly tacked cotton seal has been unpicked. A good example of the type. Stock code MW17588.
