Stores Ref. 22c/827. The frame is generally very good although the edges have been bent outwards slightly (see photos) and have relatively minor paint rubbing in these areas A service number has also been scratched above the left lens (as worn). These have the sought after white frame nuts that were used to denote the fitting of prescription lenses. The lenses are in this case non-prescription clear glass and have some delamination marking. The leather frame surround is very good, the internal padding is soft and pliable -almost unheard of with MK.VIIs and the backing chamois has far less soiling than usual. Very good nosepiece leather. This pair is fitted with the rarer early 'Newey' leather strap which is in good order bar surface corrosion on the metal components and what appears to be a replacement female section press stud (see photo). A good '+' to very good pair of used goggles. No flipshield fitted. Stock code G18818.
