Stores ref. 1A/3927. The classic, ultra rare light green holdall used to carry all the Navigator's charts, chartboard, parallel rules, pencils, protractors, compasses etc. Approx. 50 x 50 cm with flapped pockets to both sides and two carrying handles. Broad arrow stamped to one side and with faint stores reference marks and 1944 date. Also marked with owner's name. The heavy cotton canvas is rather soiled and heavily faded - note the colour variation on the photos where sections of the inside of the bag can be seen against the outer parts. (photos 5 & 6 show the colour most accurately). No damage, holes or repairs and in very good solid/strong used condition. These rarely turn up and this is the first we've had in years.
