Standard four pocket khaki drill jacket. No label. Physically measures approx. 38" so is small fitting. Fitted with belt and buckle, brass buttons, squadron leader rank lace and flat pilot wings with popper attachment to rear. The wings, buttons and rank lace all attached in such a way that they could easily be removed for laundering purposes. Shows wear and use with some marking and light staining. Named inside to a Sqdrn. Ldr. R.W Compton-Hall. He would appear to have been in the RAFVR General Duties branch in 1939 and relinquished his commission as Wing Commander (honorary) (192656) on cessation of duty) 30th June 1948. Stock code U19002.
