'Battle of Britain' flying gauntlets. Size 8.5. One is 1939 dated, the other 1940. Good, though not perfect colour match - left and right gloves were manufactured in separate factories to combat theft. The leather is in very good condition showing fairly light use and wear. No real damage but some soiling and light scuffing. Brass 'Lightning' zips are both excellent and complete with leather pull tabs. The linings to both gloves have average soiling. Each glove is A.M. King's Crown marked and have A.I.D. marks and various names inked inside. A good to very good used pair of gloves. Stock code GA15075.
