By Frank Bryan Ltd. 1940. Size 2 (6 7/8 - 7). The overall appearance is excellent and the leather is supple with good original finish. The zipped earpieces are good as are the zips - both of which retain the orginal leather puller tabs. The helmet retains its receiver carriers is fitted with a set of sponge rubber ear cushions - these show wear but are completely flexible. All straps are generally good and both Bennett buckles have their leather covering. The chin strap is also very good and retains the metal end-piece. The chin strap Bennet buckle is particularly good. The chamois lining shows average soiling - more on the donuts as usual. Fully labelled. Unwired but fitted with a pair of reproduction 10A/7063 'B-type' receivers. Interestingly this helmet also features a rare original 'mascot' in the form of the Lincoln Imp. This is a small brass/gilt metal 'figure' sewn to the centre of the forehead panel. An excellent helmet. Stock code H14739.
