Stores Ref. 22c/68. Commonwealth produced. These are essentially the same as the Air Ministry chamois backed canvas webbing strips with 2 male press stud fasteners attached. However, they have leather backing in place of the canvas. These can be sewn to the sides of a D-type mask to enable its attachment to a B-type helmet. Show used and wear but in fairly good overall condition. Please note that some Commonwealth 'defenders' have slightly differently spaced studs to the standard RAF ones. If in doubt check measurements first. Centre to centre these studs are approx. 64mm apart. Stock code H13527.
