'Singer's' tourniquet by Bailey of London. High quality tourniquet made in chromed metal with a buckled webbing strap. Tightening of the strap is achieved by turning a large knurled knob. Air Ministry & King's crown marked and with A.M. marked storage tin. These were issued as part of the aircraft first aid outfits, although they generally had much lower quality wooden/webbing tourniquets than this. Essential to stop blood loss in the event of flak/bullet injuries. Nice item - probably pre-war or early war issue. Stock code S15916.
