Size Medium. Dated 4-45. (April 1945). Rare wartime dated example of this mask. The rubber facepiece is in very good condition and retains good overall shape. There is no serious cracking although the surface shows some crazing and more stress crazing is visible if the mask is flexed. The pearl grey suede lining has average soiling and has been marked 'Type H'. Fitted with a good type 57 microphone assembly and a somewhat threadbear (in places) black flecked light tan loom. The harness is complete but rather faded and with loss of elasticity. These late war H-masks are very difficult to obtain now in any condition. Considerably rarer than a G-type mask. Good to good '+' used overall. Stock code O14637.
