Stores Ref. 22c/827. The frame is generally in very good/sound condition with only minor paint loss/chipping. The leather surround is excellent and the backing chamois is really quite clean with far less than average soiling. Unusually the internal padding is still soft/pliable. Excellent nosepiece leather. The clear lenses look good but do have a little minor delamination marking at the edges. The webbing strap is a bit faded and soiled but does retain a decent level of elastication and the metal componants are largely free of rust and verdigris. This pair also comes with the extremely rare and sought after perspex 'flipshield', or more correctly, 'Screen, anti-glare', stores ref. 22c/836. This has minor scuffs/scratches and the metal attachment clip has surface corrosion/pitting. An excellent pair of goggles suitable for RAF & AAF displays. Stock code G18084.
