Stores ref. 15A/970. Standard RCAF type wartime quick release box with the 'sliced off' rounded front plate marked 'Turn to Unlock - Press To Release'. The backplate has no attachment loop so this has one harness connector plate permanently attached to the QR box (note the small hole in the front plate). These QR boxes with the asymetrical front plates are commonly found on wartime Canadian harnesses and postwar RAF harnesses. Shows use and wear and would benefit from a clean up but in good condition overall. Stock code M15701.
