Stores Ref. 22/897. One of the classic 'Battle of Britain' pattern goggles. The frame is in good condition with just a little rubbing and brass showing through. All of the frame screws are original and both of the frame 'stops' are in place. The leather surrounds are very good and the internal padding is better than most pairs we've handled. The lenses too are better than most with only light marking and scratching. The strap springs are complete/very good and the leather strap is good, and fully R.C.A.F. stamped with a clear 1942 date. Exactly the same as the Air Ministry marked ones but cheaper! Very good used goggles. Stock code G14604.
