Manufactured using parachute webbing this type of safety harness was used mainly by waist gunners to prevent them from falling from the aircraft. Date of manufacture marked as September 1943 but also with later inspection dates (1945, 1947 & 1950). Excellent, probably unused condition and with remnants of the original packing box.
