Produced by Resistal, a subsidiary of Stratus & Buegeleisen, the NAK was chosen as standard issue during and after the First World War. It features a lightweight folding teardrop shaped aluminium frame, sprung fabric backed with chenille fur trimming. Simple elastic strap and laminted glass lenses. This model is the NAK-V featuring small vents built into the frames at each side. The frames are in good condition. Possible extra stitching to the fabric backing (see photos). Fur trim very good. The strap has lost elasticity. Leather strap attachment points show wear and use. Stock code G18467.
