By Crescent China (George Jones & Sons). Scarce large white ceramic water jug approximately 22cm tall x 22cm x 20cm. Lovely clear King's crown R.A.F. crest in blue to one side. This unsually shaped jug has moulded horizontal banding giving a barrel-like appearance. Overall condition is good '+' to very good. There is no cracking, crazing or chips and the glaze remains very good. However, there is some old gold paint overspray in places. Ths isn't significant and might clean off with white spirit or thinners. The jug would have been in the R.A.F. mess at meal times. Manufacturer's marks on the base. Rather heavy at around 2kg without packaging. We will post this item using a 24 hour service within the UK but would prefer collection. Overseas postage also possible but will be rather expensive.
