WW2 British Army Airborne forces 'Pegasus' divisional formation sign. Designed by the artist Edward Seago and depicting the ancient Greek hero Bellephon riding the mythical winged horse Pegasus. This example is approximately 7.5 x 6cm and embroidered on felt. It is used with some moth damage. We purchased this directly from the son of the original owner who flew gliders and also served with the RAF. Brief details will be supplied to the buyer. A scarce original badge. Stock code U21998.
