Propaganda poster approximately 50.7 x 38cm. This simple but graphic image shows RAF Wellington bombers in the night sky with flak explosions and Luftwaffe fighter in the backgound. Printed on thin wartime economy paper. Captioned at the bottom 'British bombers have carried out over 1,600 raids on Germany (Up to May, 1941), probably dating this to around August/September 1941 at the latest. Has been folded, is creased, has pin holes in the upper corners and a small tear on the upper edge. Stock code PWELL/1.
