It covers flying suits, jackets, headgear, gloves and footwear with over 150 photographs and diagrams. The appendices include copies of original clothing designation sheets and notes on preservation. Sweeting was curator of flight material at the Smithsonian Institute's National Air and Space Museum. Long out of print, this is a must for any collector of AAF flight kit.
