By Oberleutnant Fritz von Forell.  H/b, 13.5 x 21cm. 216p, 1st edition, 1941.  A biography of Luftwaffe pilot Werner Mölders.  Born on 18th March 1913, he joined the Luftwaffe in 1934 and flew with the Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War, shooting down 15 aircraft.  He also flew during the Battle of France and the Battle of Britain, shooting down a further 53 aircraft.  His unit, JG51, transferred to the Eastern Front in 1941 where Mölders became the first pilot ever to claim 100 victories and was highly decorated for these achievements.  He was killed as a passenger in a flying accident on 22 November 1941.  The book has some excellent photographs.  All text in German.  Shows soiling and wear.  Stock code P24215A-306.
