Ltd., London, 1970.  Profusely illustrated reference of the 8th AAF from its inception in January 1942 to its departure from the UK after the end of the hostilities in Europe.  With over 400 photographs and a full colour section depicting the markings and colour schemes of most of the 8th's bomber and fighter units.  The cover is a bit faded/soiled, pages generally good but the dustjacket is rather tatty.  A scarce 1st edition copy of this classic reference work, long held as the 'bible' on the 8th AAF.  Stock code P24215A-292
