Rare model of the 'swinger' compass in the form of a small magnetized steel bar, approximately 19mm x 5mm. Fitted with a hollowed brass pivot point allowing the compass to be balanced on a pencil, pin, or other sharp object. Marked with red paint to one end to denote North. Being so small this could easily be concealed by an airman and used for escape or evasion purposes. Good working condition. The first of these we have had for a decade. Stock code E24713.
