Sheet 'Zones of France'. Second Edition. Large single-sided colour silk/rayon map, approximately 60 x 56cm. Scale 1 : 2,000,000. With inset of frontiers. This was the map issued to troops and aircrew on D-day. Marked I.S.9 (WEA) MAR 44. 'Sealed' raw unhemmed edges have very minor fraying. The map is generally clean and retains strong colour. Folded/creased and would benefit from careful pressing/ironing. An excellent example of the map that everyone wants! Stock code E26855.
