External flying helmet wiring loom. Stores reference 10A/10353. Type Q instrument cord (loom) wired to a type 20 microphone (type 21 when 'mounted' as here) ready for fitting to a type D oxygen mask. The type 20, stores reference 10A/11994, has a black painted alloy casing and is often referred to as the '1941' pattern although it was actually introduced in October 1940. It has minor paint loss on exposed edges but is in excellent overall condition. Air Ministry and King's crown markings to the front face of the casing. It retains the rubber band around the microphone although this has hardened with age. The mid tan coloured loom is a little soiled with very minor fraying but is generally excellent. Fitted with an early brown cased type 119 bell jackplug, stores reference 10A/10991. All ready for your B-type helmet. Stock code H22314.
