Imperial Japanese Navy MAN Goggle Mask. Manufactured by MAN ( an ebbreviation of Manchuria where the factory was located). Dark brown lacquered aluminium frames stitched to chocolate brown padded velvet cushions and a large fur backed leather facemask. Fitted with curved elliptical clear glass lenses and wide adjustable elasticated strap. Intended for use with fur lined helmets in open cockpits and exposed crew positions. The frames are in excellent condition and have the MAN logo on each side. The leather mask and backing show only light very wear and the lenses appear excellent. The strap is lightly soiled but still retains good elasticity. An excellent pair of these high quality goggles. Stock code G20202.
