RAF sunglasses, type F, cased
Stores reference 22G/1107. Size medium. Post WW2 issue. Introduced in the late 1940s these are virtually identical to the standard WW2 issue MK.VIII anti-glare spectacles/sunglasses. They have grey/green tinted lenses set in steel wire frames with side-arms terminating with sprung 'wrap-around' ear pieces. Stamped 'LOCL' (London Optical Co. Ltd.) and with reference numbers. The frame is tarnished and a little pitted with some verdigris despoits. Vertical 'play' in the hinges. Good lenses and case. Stock code G17345.
