Gogglette No.3 manufactured by E.B. Meyrovitz who also made the 'Luxor' range. Lightweight nickel-plated and vented ovoid brass frames with adjustable centre bridge. Each side of the frame is marked 'GOGGLETTE NO. 3'. Two piece black rubber cushions are securely stitched. They have hardened with age but generally retain good shape. Fitted with excellent convex clear glass lenses. The original strap fittings remain but the elastic appears to have been changed (too narrow). It would be a simple task to change this. The goggles came in an alloy tin for a pair of Meyrowitz No.6 goggles as shown. A good '+' pair of rare early goggles from the 1905 - 1930s period. Stock code G26349.
