Lining, Suit, Electrically Heated Type H. Stores reference 22c/1012, size small. One-piece button fronted full length suit in brown Union twill or cotton lined rayon, fitted with a simple knitted collar. The electrical supply was taken through a flexible cable (umbilical) with a 3-pin connector/plug. A shorter cable close to the neck supplied power to an oxygen mask heater. This suit has snap connectors at the wrists and ankles to accommodate 24 volt power supplies only (some suits also have alternative connectors for 12v systems). This allowed the use of Type H gloves but not the earlier type D. Generally a little faded and soiled with heavier grime at the knees where there are some small worn areas. There is also a small tear at the left side pocket entry and a few small moth holes on the collar but the suit retains both connector leads, plugs and label. A good used example of what is now a very difficult suit to find. Stock code S15369.
