Trousers from the two-piece 'Kanal' (Channel) flying suit for flight over water during winter. These have a buttoned waistband with a concealed webbing belt with friction buckles, fly zip, zipped ankle openings and webbing straps/rings for the attachment of braces/suspenders. They are fitted with numerous pockets that were used to contain survival equipment including a flare pistol (Kampfpistole), flares, signal flag (Fahnenstace), flight instruments, rations, gravity knife etc. This pair is manufactured in two-tone grey suede sheepskin with a cotton waistband and pockets.
