General Purpose Goggles. These are virtually identical to the Model 306 Fliegerbrille but smaller in size. They have two-piece drab grey-green painted oval aluminium frames, adjustable by means of a screw at the bridge and featuring a sliding vent at the bottom of each side. The bridge piece is marked 'W' and '42'. The frames are stitched onto large grey-green rubber face cushions. The goggles have very minor paint loss on exposed surfaces, the cushions have good overall shape and general flexibility and the strap retains excellent elasticity. Fitted with clear glass lenses, the left side has two cracks. The goggles come with an unmarked tin of issue which also contains a spare set of clear lenses within a fabric pouch. These have some delamination marks. A very good pair of goggles. Stock code G26184.
