Trousers, Windproof, Camouflaged. Manufactured by J.D. Fieldman & Co. Ltd. Size 5 (height 5'9 - 5'11", waist 32 - 34", breech 33 - 40"). 1944 dated. Lightweight cotton trousers printed with an irregular brown/green camouflage pattern. Designed to be worn over battledress these are of simple construction with a webbing drawstring waist, no fly opening, slit pockets on each hip and a flapped pocket above the left knee. Some repairs to note include a patch in the groin area, another on the right knee and a couple along the inner seam of the left leg as shown. All have been undertaken very neatly using the original material. There are a few other small snags and stitched repairs but nothing serious. The legs have been shortened and re-hemmed and now lack the buttoned tabs. Not perfect but in very sound overall condition with the 1944 dated manufacturers label. Stock code S28290.
