Leather flying jacket very loosely based on a USAAF B-3 or D-1. Physically measures approximately 46" so perhaps a 42 - 44" chest as it is fairly thin. Manufactured in brown chromed shearling. It has open pockets at the front, small straps at the sides of the hem and a buckled collar strap. The leather isn't as thick as most original jackets but the condition is generally good. There is surface wear and crazing but no damage. It may have been enlarged slightly with leather panels each side of the main zip - or this could simply be a design feature? The 'Swift' zip is actually of good quality and would look fine on an original. One of the side buckles is missing and the collar strap is worn. Worn by an instructor on Tiger Moths after his Irvin wore out. Sadly not in the same league and not a convincing copy but in good overall condition and cheap! Stock code J25153.
Approximate measurements : pit to pit 23", pit to cuff 19", pit to waist 16", rear collar seam to waist 28"
