By Howard Pewter. Half-pint capacity straight-sided tankard engraved 'M.A.S.C.F. 1939-45'. Sadly the acronym remains a mystery but there is some suggestion of a connection with the Fleet Air Arm and this is clearly commemorating something related to WW2. According to The Pewter Society, the manufacturer's marks on the base of this tankard were used between 1930 and 1939. There is some solder (?) residue around the base, otherwise in good condition.
