Lovely wartime period tiepin/brooch in white metal with two tiny 'Spitfire' type aircraft and a faceted red ruby (?) stone at the centre. Fastens with a copper safety pin. The aircraft are similar to those made from old coins and used for Spitfire fund badges. Approximately 6cm wide, the aircraft being around 15mm x 14mm each. Probably unique - a really stylish piece in excellent condition. Stock code M22873-257.
