Worn by Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing Service nurses as part of the ward dress. This white cotton head veil is approximately 85 x 85cms and has a pierced decorative line 5cm in from the edge. Blue embroidered R.A.F. wings to one corner. Shows use and wear with some relatively light marking and a couple of small fray holes. Named to original owner. Very rare find. Stock code U16622.
