Stores Ref. 22c/311. Size 2 (Ht. 5'5"-5'6", Br. 33/35", Wt. 30-32", Seat 35-38", Leg 28"). Early wartime version of the Sidcot produced in grey green rubberised cotton as used for the 1932 pattern Mae West. The material is in very good overall condition - a little faded in places and with some light soiling and marking. The rear belt has been cut short (see photos) and the internal rubberising is shedding a bit as usual. The suit retains its cloth hanger, 1940 date coded cloth label and all of its buttons. One leg zip has a a few teeth missing and lacks a slider but all the remaining zips are original chromed Air Ministry/Lightning and are c/w cloth pull tags. The lining appears to be in very good clean condition . Overall this is a very good lightly used example of the scarce 1930 pattern 'Battle of Britain' suit. It is being sold without a collar but we can provide a suitable example at extra cost. Stock code S17259.
