MK.II, 24 Volt. Olive drab cotton canvas muff with integral heating element. Knitted 'cuffs' to keep out the draughts. Cotton covered wiring loom and twin bladed plug. Labelled and war department broad arrow marked. Apart from light storage soiling and a small split in one of the cuffs (see photo) this is in excellent unissued condition. Used by the RAF & AAF alike, most of these were produced by Windak. See p105 of Mick Prodger's Luftwaffe vs. RAF Vol1. There is an illustration of one there.
