Stores Ref. 15A/141. Two point detachable chest pack. Attaches to the harness by the engagement of a pair of steel loops with a pair of hooded snap-hooks located on the chest.
This example is manufactured the usual sandy coloured cotton canvas. It is complete with all the webbing grab handles, rip-cord flap and rip-cord handle housing. In addition it is comes with the 'D-ring' & ripcord plus the elasticated 'bungees'. The pack label reads 'A.M, Parachute Observer , Ref. 15A/141, Serial No. A167371'. The pack is in very good used condition though somewhat faded and with light soiling. There is minor damage to one grab handle (see photo) and the bungees are quite stretched. No canopy fitted. Extremely difficult to find. Stock code M17372.
